Dr. med. Hans Groth, MBA, is the Chairman of the Board of the World Demographic & Ageing Forum (WDA Forum) – a Think Tank founded in St. Gallen/Switzerland in 2002. In 2020 founded the WDA Global Longevity Council with members from all continents. From 2009 – 2020 he was a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG)/ Switzerland with the topic “Megatrend: Global Demographic Change”. From 2009 – 2015 he was a member of the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
His research focuses on theories of economic development and productivity and builds upon utilizing the value of health as a sustainable tool in order to unlock ways to tackle the imminent challenges of demographic change & ageing and its opportunities for society, governance and business.
