We harmonize 10 clinical trials with phenotyping on ICOPE functions “mobility, mental health, cognition, vision, hearing and nutrition/vitality”. The consortium defined a shared concept on how to derive the composite endpoint “intrinsic capacity” from the six ICOPE functions to repurpose these trials for “intrinsic capacity” as a novel outcome of resilience. Analyses in two trials of the consortium (DO-HEALTH and ASPREE) are ongoing.
